SEAN DEWITT, b.Sc, MBA - VP Business Development

Sean drives commercialization and Business Development activities for MACH32. Sean has a diverse background in health and life sciences innovation, in both the private and public sectors in Alberta. Starting in operations and manufacturing with Afexa Life Sciences (makers of COLD-FX®), he then moved into sales positions with Novartis and Bristol-Myers Squibb. After pharmaceuticals, Sean gained extensive experience in healthcare operations and governance while at Alberta Health Services. He also worked within the Health Innovation group at Alberta Innovates where he helped innovators develop, commercialize, and implement their health innovations. Most recently, he worked at Brass Dome Ventures in early-stage investing, business consulting, and start-up advisory.

Sean has an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Alberta in addition to a BSc. in Biological Sciences & Business. Sean is a fan of obscure sports (Jai alai, anyone?), comedy, and loud music, and is still trying to figure the whole parenting thing out.
